Importing Variables from another Creative
Once a variable has been created it is possible for it to be imported
into another Content. This allows users to make a copy of the original
variable for use in a new Creative. Any editing to the copied variable
will be made to that variable only.
To import a variable
from another Creative:
- With the Content in either Design or Source view, click the
drop-down arrow on the Insert Variable
button
- Select Import.
- Use the Document explorer to search for the Creative(s) that contains
the variable(s) you wish to import.
- Select the variable to be imported. Note:
you can only import one variable at a time.
- Click the Import button.

Once a
variable has been imported into another Creative's Content, it is
marked as a shared variable. Shared variables can be seen in the Shared Elements pane and can be
selected for use in other Creative Contents by selecting the drop-down
arrow on the Variable button and selecting Shared when in Source or Design
view. |
