Email Open |
An Email Open is counted when a hidden image in an HTML template is streamed from the mail systems content server. Hidden tracking images are embedded automatically in all outgoing HTML templates. Opens are counted only from HTML. Text template opens cannot be tracked. This number includes messages sent by the mailer and RSS. |

Auto Reply |
An Auto Reply is counted when the receiving domain server returns a notice containing certain key words or phrases indicating the recipient has an auto-reply feature engaged. |

Soft Unsubscribe |
A Soft Unsubscribe is counted when the recipient uses the unsubscribe method of replying with a keyword such as "Remove" in the subject line. A Soft Unsubscribe is a subset of Any Unsubscribe. |

Update Info |
An Update Info is counted when a recipient updates their database info using EM's Preferences Page (an embedded database access form). |

Flash Begin |
A Flash Begin is counted when a flash object in an email begins to stream. This is only applicable to messages with Flash content that has been properly formatted to communicate this action back to EM. |

A Flash End is counted when a flash object in an email streams completely. This is only applicable to messages with Flash content that have been properly formatted to communicate this action back to EM. |

Complaint |
A Complaint is counted when the receiving domain server returns a notice that the recipient complained about the incoming message using a "This is Spam" button or similar device in their email client. Complaint is a subset of Any Bounce. |

Hard Unsubscribe |
Hard Unsubscribe is counted when the recipient uses the unsubscribe method of clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link within the email that opens a browser form with a direct link to EM's database. A Hard Unsubscribe is a subset of Any Unsubscribe. |

RSS Submitted |
Messages sent through RSS only. RSS-Only Sent is a subset of Messages Sent. |

RSS Opened |
RSS-Only Messages opened (see Message Open for details on how an Open is tracked). RSS Open is a subset of Message Opened. |

A recipient has clicked the "RSS only" preference. This only applies to accounts with this feature enabled. |

Landing Page |
Landing Page is counted whenever a Message Open is recorded which is not from the main Content of a Creative. This indicates that a Content that was used exclusively as a landing page has been opened. |

Message Delivered |
A Message Delivered is counted when a message is sent through the mailer or RSS. It excludes any event where a message is not sent through the mailer such as unsubscribes suppressed prior to Send, records suppressed prior to Send that may have appeared on Suppression Lists or been blocked by Health Suppression. |

Recipient Suppressed |
The recipient has been suppressed because they have unsubscribed globally. |

Event Suppressed |
The recipient was suppressed due to the deployment's event suppression policy. |

Remote Hard Bounce |

A Soft Bounce is a message that is bounced back to either the mailer or through inbound and is determined to be a temporary delivery failure. Soft Bounce is a subset of Any Bounce. |

A Spam Bounce is counted when the receiving domain server returns a notice of non-delivery containing certain key words or phrases from a spam blocker indicating the message delivery was blocked. Typical reasons for blocked delivery include questionable message content, black-listed sender's domain, unknown sender's domain or excessive spam complaints at a receiving domain. Spam bounce is a subset of Any Bounce. |

Remote Mailbox Full |
A Mailbox Full is counted when the receiving domain server returns a notice of non-delivery containing certain key words or phrases indicating the message was not delivered because the recipient's mail box is full. Mailbox full is a subset of Any Bounce. |

The messages was refused by the local receiving MTA, with a message indicating that the address or domain is invalid. |

Local Soft Bounce |
The message was received by the local receiving MTA, with no indication that the address is bad, or explicit information stating otherwise. |
